The 10th annual law enforcement memorial service that honors officers who died in the line of duty will be discussed today on the "Going Public" radio show.

Ruth Dockins, secretary of the Seniors and Lawmen Together group, and Roger Fields, a Cape Girardeau Police Department captain, will discuss the event.

The show also will include an interview with retired history professor Bob White. He will talk about his latest book, "Invisible Chains: Slavery in Cape Girardeau County."

Dr. Gary Miller, interim director of the School of Visual and Performing Arts, and Bob Cerchio, assistant director, will discuss the progress of the new River Campus and the entertainment events scheduled this fall.

"Going Public" will be broadcast at 3 p.m. on Public Radio affiliate stations, KRCU, 90.9 FM; and KSEF, 88.9 FM.
