Going Public show to highlight Parkinson's expert

The "Going Public" radio show Sunday will focus on Parkinson's disease expert Dr. Mark Stacy and the charitable efforts of Taylor Seabaugh.

Stacy is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He has directed the Movement Disorders program at Duke University. Prior to his work at Duke, Stacy worked closely with retired boxer Muhammad Ali who suffers from Parkinson's disease.

Taylor Seabaugh was nominated for the 2007 Kohl's Kids Who Care Award after she donated all of her presents from her 10th birthday to patients at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Taylor and her mother, Lisa, will discuss the reasons for such charity.

The show will be broadcast at 3 p.m. on public radio affiliates KRCU, 90.9 FM, and KSEF, 88.9 FM.
