The 10-day show is the largest in the world, with more than 8,000 horses and 13,000 exhibitors participating in the classes ranging from traditional western riding to jumping and cart classes.

Remley earned seventh place in the Hunter Under Saddle class. She competed against 50 riders in the age 11 and under category. It was her first entry in the Congress show.

Remley is a sixth-grade student at Alma Schrader Elementary School in Cape Girardeau. She is a member of the Semo Equestrians 4-H Club and a six-county Horse Bowl team. She was coached by her mother, SuAnne Remley, who operates a quarter horse training barn.
