The Southeastern Missouri Area Health Education Center, the St. Louis University Geriatric Scholars of Southeastern Missouri and the Cape Girardeau County Area Medical Society are sponsoring a daylong program, "The Key to Gerontological Issues in the 90s" on Friday.
The program begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Show Me Center. Dr. John Morley, director of geriatric medicine at the St. Louis University School of Medicine, will present the medical overview.
In addition, several nationally recognized speakers will be present to discuss the most current and relevant issues facing the gerontological health-care provider.
Nurses, social workers, nutritionists, allied health professionals, nursing home administrators, physicians, pharmacists and home economists can receive educational credit for the program.
