Georgia man charged with fatal Illinois shooting
MOUNDS, Ill. -- A 24-year-old Jonesboro, Ga., man was arrested early Wednesday on allegations that he shot and killed a 28-year-old Mounds man.

MOUNDS, Ill. -- A 24-year-old Jonesboro, Ga., man was arrested early Wednesday on allegations that he shot and killed a 28-year-old Mounds man.
Johnnie L. Hadley is charged with first-degree murder.
Authorities from Pulaski County and the Illinois State Police responded around 12:30 a.m. to 131 S. McKinley Ave. in Mounds, where they found Joseph Jones dead on the lawn, near the street.

An autopsy is pending, according to the Illinois State Police.
