GENERAL NUTRITION CENTER MOVES TO NEW MALL LOCATION

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The General Nutrition Center, which was one of the original stores to locate in West Park Mall when it opened a decade ago, has moved to a new location within the mall.

"We moved up the Famous Barr corridor," said Sabrina Tate, manager of the operation, which sells nutrition foods, vitamins, minerals and body building items. "We'll have a little more room, and we feel we're in a better location in the mall."

The Nutrition Center is owned by the GNC Corporation, which operates about 1,200 stores.
