JACKSON -- A "Getting Started" genealogy workshop will be held by the Cape County Genealogical Society Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Riverside Regional Library in Jackson.
Each participant will prepare an ancestor chart in advance. The charts will be analyzed so that individual assistance can be given.
A $10 fee includes a year's membership in the local society. Early registration is advised so that proper preparation can be made. Registration is limited to 20 participants and should be sent to Mary Rasmussen, 1524 Bessie, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63701.
