Genealogical society meets Tuesday

The Cape Girardeau County Genealogical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cape Girardeau County Archive Center, 112 E. Washington St. in Jackson. The program, "Downtown Cape Revitalization," will be presented by Marla Mills, executive director of Old Town Cape. The archive center will be open at 6:30 p.m. for members to use the library for research. The society meets bimonthly on the fourth Tuesday. Nonmembers are welcome at all meetings.
