Need a good laugh? Port Cape Girardeau will host "Funny Bones on Tour" Friday and Saturday night featuring stand-up comedians who have performed at comedy clubs across the country.
"All three comedians have some national exposure," said Doc Cain, owner of Port Cape. "They've all performed at Funny Bone clubs throughout the country, so we're real excited to have them here."
The shows will be in the River City Yacht Club, on the second floor of the restaurant.
The three are Steve Pollard, David Markwell and Mark Markwell. Cain said the three, who are based in St. Louis, are seasoned professionals who have opened for bands and appeared on television shows.
There will be two shows nightly. At 6 p.m., an all-you-can-eat bar-be-cue buffet begins with the show starting at 7 p.m. Reservations are required for the dinner show, and the cost is $15 per person, which includes the show, dinner, tax and gratuity.
The cost for the 10 p.m. show is $5 per person.
"This is the first time we have offered a dinner-comedy night," Cain said. "It's an effort to provide a good variety of entertainment in the area."
