The annual Children's FunFest held April 1 at R.O. Hawkins Junior High School drew youngsters from throughout the area for fun and fund raising at R.O. Hawkins Junior High School. The event is sponsored by the Jacksonian Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association.

About 600 people attended the annual event, which offered fun and activities ranging from arcade games to beauty make-overs.

About $1,800 was raised to fund the ABWA chapter's sponsorship of university scholarships and educational programs.
