Fundraiser helping with Cape children's museum exhibit in honor of 3-year-old who died

Viney Mosley, grandmother of Levi Collom, points out features of a concept drawing for an exhibit at the Discovery Playhouse while the artist, Holly Dirnberger of Cape Girardeau, looks on. The exhibit was unveiled during Friday night's "Help Levi's Legacy Live On" fundraiser at Jeremiah's Restaurant and Lounge in Sikeston, Mo. Dirnberger's drawing incorporates several activities Levi enjoyed, such as camping at Van Buren and playing with superheroes. Proceeds from the event will help create the exhibit at the Cape Girardeau museum. Levi, who died at age 3 on March 18, is the son of Ellen and Glenn Collom of Benton, Mo., and grandson of Steve and Viney Mosley of Cape Girardeau and Bobbi Collom of Sikeston.
