A Fruitland mobile home was a total loss after a Thursday evening fire, fire officials said.
The Fruitland Fire Department was called shortly before 7 p.m. to 167 N. Legend Drive, according to firefighter John Beaudean. A family was home at the time but escaped without injury, he said.
About 20 firefighters, including those with the East County Fire Protection District, battled the blaze for 30 to 45 minutes before it was extinguished, Beaudean said.
Still, he said, "it's probably a total loss on the fire."
No investigation is pending, he said, but the department believes the fire was accidental.
