PATTON, Mo. -- Patton Junction Livestock Auction Monday. Receipts, 1,826; week ago, 1,817; last year, 1,574. Compared to last week number 1 steers and heifers sold steady to 3.00 lower, however the quality of the offering was less than last week and buyers were paying much less for number 1 feeders this week. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher; Demand and supply moderate. Cows and bulls made up approximately 6 percent of the run, 94 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 54 percent of the offering, 46 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 19 percent.
