Frohna teen injured in car accident

A Frohna, Mo., teenager was injured Wednesday in a one-car crash in southern Perry County.

Dustin R. Roth, 16, was taken by helicopter to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau following the accident on Route A near Altenburg, Mo., the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

Roth was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier westbound on Route A when he travelled off the right side of the road, the patrol reported. He overcorrected, crossed the road and slid off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Roth received moderate injuries, the patrol reported.
