FROHNA -- Natalie Schuessler of Frohna has won a $1,000 All-College Scholarship from Aid Association for Lutherans.
She is one of 775 graduating high school seniors to be honored as a recipient of one of the scholarships, which range from $500 to $2,000 annually.
The recipients were chosen from almost 4,900 applicants based on academic record, leadership, extracurricular activities, church and community involvement and the students' own statements.
Schuessler graduated as the salutatorian from Perryville High School and will be studying architecture at Kansas State University in Manhattan. She is the daughter of Robert and Janet Schuessler of Frohna.
