FROEMSDORF, PHILLIPS NAMED FINALISTS IN TEEN PROGRAM

Lauren Froemsdorf and Majhon Phillips have been selected as finalists in the 1999 Pre-Teen Missouri Scholarship and Recognition Program to be held Sept. 4-6 in Columbia.

Froemsdorf is the daughter of Curt and Elainna Froemsdorf. Phillips is the daughter of Allen and Aleda Phillips, all of Jackson.

Pre-Teen Missouri is a by-invitation-only scholarship and recognition event for girls ages 7-12, and is based on academic records, awards, honors and outside activities.

They are also invited based on their outstanding personal achievements, volunteer services, school involvement, leadership and creativity.

Pre-Teen Missouri will award more than $5,000 in educational bonds, prizes and awards.
