Friday's prayer luncheon at the Show Me Center, sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Christian Business Men's Committee, has been canceled due to scheduling conflicts.
The luncheon was to feature Herb Titus, an attorney, professor and author. He is the publisher of Forecast, a monthly journal designed to provide an analysis and critique of current public policy issues.
Dr. Bill Terry, a Cape Girardeau physician who serves on the Christian Business Men's Association's national board, said conflicts with local organizers' schedules and Titus' schedule caused the cancellation.
Titus likely will be back in the fall.
"We like to bring worthy, highly qualified speakers from around the country," Terry said.
Everyone who bought advance tickets will receive refunds.
