A Freedom from Smoking clinic will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Cape Vo-Tech School.
The clinic was designed by the American Lung Association and presented by health care professionals (including ex-smokers) from Southeast Missouri Hospital. It is a way to quit smoking.
The focus progresses from habit awareness to actual behavioral change with an emphasis on the mastery of a new and healthier lifestyle.
Fee for the clinic is $50, with $5 refunded to people completing the course.
Classes meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. through April 4 in Room 112, except March 9, when they meet in Room 101C.
