In recognition of National Fishing Week, June 12 and 13 will be Free Fishing Days in Missouri.

On Free Fishing Days the Conservation Department allows anglers to fish without having to buy fishing permits, daily trout tags or trout permits at most locations. It's an opportunity for people who don't regularly fish to give the sport a try without the cost of a permit. Requirements for special permits still may apply at some county, city or private areas, and normal regulations, such as size and daily limits, still apply.
