FREDERICKTOWN MAN KILLED; 4 HURT

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- A Fredericktown, Mo., man was killed and his two passengers were seriously injured early Monday when another vehicle crossed the center line and struck his vehicle nearly head-on.

Billie J. St. Clair, 21, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after the 7:22 a.m. accident. It occurred on state Highway 51, just south of County Road 704.

St. Clair's passengers, Cleveland McMahan, 22, and Michael St. Clair, 42, both of Fredericktown, were taken to the same hospital with serious injuries.

The other driver, Lee Wills, 19, of Marble Hill, Mo., had minor injuries and was taken to Perry County Hospital in Perryville. His passenger, James Wills, 22, of Marble Hill was taken to the same hospital.
