A Fredericktown, Missouri, man was injured Tuesday in an accident in Bollinger County. Travis Shaffer, 32, was traveling east just before 7 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 72 about 4 1/2 miles west of Patton, Missouri, when his 2001 Pontiac Montana ran off the right side of the road, struck a mailbox and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

Shaffer, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to a Cape Girardeau hospital.
