Franklin Elementary School will hold a reunion for former students, staff and faculty Saturday. The reunion will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at the school at 214 N. Louisiana Ave. The school will be torn down this summer in preparation for students and staff to occupy a new building being constructed to the west in the same block. Franklin Elementary was built in 1927 and originally held first through ninth grades. More information on the reunion is available from principal Dr. Rhonda Dunham by calling 335-4546.
