Four Southeast Missouri teen-agers were injured in three separate accidents Thursday, according to reports from the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Derek Hale, 18, of Cape Girardeau, was moderately injured when his vehicle ran off the right side of Highway 34 west of Marble Hill, Mo. Hale overcorrected and then ran off the left side of the road before overturning.

The accident happened in Bollinger County, five miles west of Marble Hill, at about 8:15 p.m.

Steven Webb, 16, was seriously injured when his vehicle ran off the road, struck an embankment and then overturned several times before coming to rest on its top.

The accident happened at 8:15 a.m. on Route Y in Stoddard County.

Webb was taken via helicopter to St. Francis Medical Center.

David Magouirk, 17, and Andrea Garver, 14 were injured when their vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign, struck a pedestrian and then hit a parked vehicle. Both were taken to Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Magouirk is from Campbell; Garver is from Qulin, Mo.

No information was available about the pedestrian who had been hit.
