SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Four members of a Perryville family were injured Sunday morning in a one vehicle accident in north Bollinger County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the westbound vehicle, a 1993 Ford Explorer, failed to negotiate a slick curve on Route KK, five miles north of Sedgewickville at 9 a.m. Sunday morning. The vehicle ran off the road, struck a tree and overturned.

Injured in the accident were Tammy Lukefahr, 31, Jacob Lukefahr, 7, Mitchell Lukefahr, 5, and Katlin Lukefahr, 3. Tammy, Mitchell and Katlin all suffered minor injuries. Jacob Lukefahr suffered serious injuries. All were transported to the Perry County Memorial Hospital.

The driver, Dean Lukefahr, 32, was not injured.

All of the people in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts, the highway patrol reported.
