An Essex, Mo., woman was injured Monday in a Stoddard County accident.
Christa Tucker, 29, was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo., after the accident on Route FF, three miles north of Essex.
Tucker was a passenger in a vehicle driven by John Tucker, 31, of Essex. He was not injured.
The other driver, Leona Rampley, 68, of Bloomfield, Mo., had minor injuries.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when Tucker's vehicle crossed the roadway into the path of the Rampley vehicle.
A Benton, Mo., driver sustained moderate injuries Monday in an accident involving a vehicle driven by her husband.
Gloria Hix, 40, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after the accident on Route H at Route C, three miles east of Benton.
The driver of the other vehicle, Donald Hix, 46, of Benton was not injured.
According to the Highway Patrol, both vehicles were traveling north on Route H when Donald Hix slowed to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by the vehicle driven by Gloria Hix.
Two Shakertown, Mo., residents sustained moderate injuries Tuesday in a single-vehicle accident on I-55, three miles south of Old Appleton.
Driver Andrew Ostrowski, 39, and Christine Ostrowski, 25, were taken to Perryville Memorial Hospital after the accident.
According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as Ostrowski's vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a rock, overturning.
