The Southeast Missouri University Foundation "125 Years - Prologue to the 21st Century" campaign has launched a student division, and it is encouraging students and student organizations to become involved in the school's largest fund-raising effort.
"Our main goal is to raise money for the university from those who will benefit most from the donations," said Jenny Lane, a member of the Student Campaign Steering Committee.
Through the student division, students, organizations, and clubs that donate $100 or more receive bricks inscribed with their names. The bricks will be installed in a permanent courtyard on campus. Larger bricks are being offered for donations of $250 or $500.
