CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The results of a survey on the economic impact of Southeast Missouri State University on the Cape Girardeau community will be discussed at the First Friday Coffee.
Robert Foster, Southeast's executive vice president; and Harry Rediger, a member of the board of the University Foundation, will discuss the survey results.
The survey was conducted by the university's Office of Economic Development and the economics department.
The meeting, sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, will be held at 7:30 a.m. Friday at the Drury Lodge.
Southeast President Kala Stroup had been scheduled to speak to the group, but she will be in Cape Canaveral, Fla. for the liftoff of the shuttle Atlantis. Southeast graduate Linda Godwin is a member of the crew.
