Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Stephen Sokoloff said Jeremy Crawford will appear in Division I of the Dunklin County 35th Circuit Court at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 18. He is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, theft, tampering with physical evidence and acceding to corruption by a public official.

Crawford was arrested in December after he allegedly received a tip from a local drug dealer about having just sold marijuana to someone. Crawford is accused of stopping the vehicle, seizing the marijuana, releasing the subject, returning the drugs to the dealer, and receiving cash.
