During her teaching career, Seabaugh spent summers as a clerk in a general store to provide her family extra income. While caring for her three children, Seabaugh accepted the responsibilities of a farm wife: tending the animals, selling milk and eggs, gardening, cooking, baking and sewing clothes for a growing family.

Seabaugh lives independently and regularly welcomes guests.

A member of Alpha Delta Kappa since 1965, Seabaugh has served in several leadership roles. The local chapter currently meets in her home.

Her hobbies include specialty baking, working crossword puzzles, reading books and magazines and crocheting.

The artistry and quality of the treasured afghans she crochets for her family and friends is outstanding. Seabaugh has also participated in outreach to third-world countries with contributions of children's crocheted sweaters for several years.
