Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor who made a presidential run in 2008, will be the featured speaker at Three Rivers Community College's 2011 commencement.

"We will be extremely honed to have Mr. Huckabee as our guest in May," Three Rivers president Devin Stephenson said. "Our graduates have worked hard, and I want them to hear from a speaker who will motivate them to continue to dream big, a speaker who is nationally recognized, and a speaker who is a person of influence and integrity."

Commencement has been scheduled for 4 p.m. May 22 at the Black River Coliseum. This is a change from the previously scheduled time to accommodate Huckabee's travel schedule.

Huckabee, one of the most prominent Republican voices on the national political landscape, served as governor of Arkansas from 1996 until 2007. He made a bid for the GOP nomination in the 2008 presidential election. He is the host of "Huckabee" on the Fox News Channel.
