FORMER CAPE RESIDENT EARNS DOCTOR OF MEDICINE
Douglas L. Best received a doctor of medicine degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia on May 10. He received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University in 1977.

He is the son of Bonnie and Jim Strong, 1517 Whitener, and John Best of Rolla. He and his wife, Debbie, have two children, Rachel and David.
Best has accepted a residency position at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., where he will specialize in diagnostic radiology.
He and his family will move to Rochester July 1.
