A former bulimic and television news journalist will present "Food For the Hungry Heart," a presentation on her struggle with bulimia, tonight at Southeast Missouri State University.

The presentation by Cynthia Rowland McClure, 28, will be held in Dempster Auditorium, 125 Crisp Hall of Nursing, at 7:30. There is no charge and anyone may attend.

McClure is an award-winning journalist and recipient of an Outstanding Woman in America award. She has conquered both bulimia and cancer and her messages are of courage and hope.

After her recovery, McClure shared her experiences with persons afflicted with eating disorders. Her efforts have produced three books.

The presentation is co-sponsored by the Center for Health and Counseling, the Office of Campus Activities and the University Center.
