CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A seminar Saturday will focus on the adoption of foreign children. Jim Richardson of Lutheran Children and Family Services will be the guest speaker.
Molly Strickland, with Lutheran Family and Children Services, said a panel of parents who have adopted internationally will share their personal experiences. Any family interested in adoption, adult adoptees and birth parents are invited to attend.
Richardson will discuss how foreign adoptions are processed, and the costs and travel involved. Richardson is the supervisor of foreign adoption at the St. Louis office of the agency.
The seminar will be held from 2-4 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, 629 William in Cape Girardeau. For more information, contact Strickland at 334-5866.
