Ford Motor Co. announced Friday that it would cut its fourth-quarter production by 21 percent from last year. The plants that will experience temporary shutdowns and the vehicles they make:
* CHICAGO: Ford Five Hundred, Ford Freestyle, Mercury Montego
* WIXOM ASSEMBLY (Wixom, Mich.): Lincoln Town Car
* LOUISVILLE ASSEMBLY (Louisville, Ky.): Ford Explorer, Mercury Mountaineer
* KENTUCKY TRUCK (Louisville, Ky.): Ford F-Series pickup
* MICHIGAN TRUCK (Wayne, Mich.): Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator
* TWIN CITIES (St. Paul, Minn.): Ford Ranger
* KANSAS CITY ASSEMBLY (Kansas City, Mo.): F-Series
* NORFOLK ASSEMBLY (Norfolk, Va.): F-Series
* DEARBORN TRUCK (Dearborn, Mich.): F-Series
