FORD GROVES WINS TOP AWARD

Ford Groves Motor Co. of Cape Girardeau has been recognized as 1992 Chairman's Award Winner.

The local dealership is one of only 91 dealers out of 6,000 nationwide to receive the honor, which is based on customer satisfaction.

This is the first time Ford Groves has received the award.

"This is a big honor," said Bob Neff of Ford Groves. "The Chairman's Award recognizes a dealer as one of the `Best of the Best.'

Ford Groves also received the Distinguished Achievement Award, which places the dealership in the top 15 percent of Ford Dealers. The local firm has won this award on numerous occasions.

A local presentation was made during a recent luncheon held at the dealership. Ford representatives Leo Cumberlich, regional sales manager of Ford's Sales Division, Memphis District, and Bill McConlogue, district manager of the Ford and Service Division in St. Louis, attended the local presentation.
