The 1996 For Love of Life and Family Conference will be held March 29-30 at Bavarian Halle in Fruitland.
The conference hopes to place emphasis on the importance of the traditional family in God's plan.
"Our main goal is to bring the focus of daily life back to family values," said Krista Keesee, advertising director for the conference. "We want to emphasize the importance of families having both a mother and a father. We also want to stress the importance of bringing the family unit together as a whole."
In addition to family values, anti abortion and abstinence before marriage also will be discussed.
Reservations for the conference are due by March 15, but they will be accepted later. For more information call 335-5273.
Guest speakers include Dr. John Willke, Penny Lea and the Rev. Paul Chaim Schenck.
Willke is a physician, author, lecturer, TV and radio personality and expert on human sexuality. He served 10 years as president of the National Right to Life Committee. He founded the International Right to Life Federation 10 years ago and remains its president.
Lea is the author of the poem and story "Sing a Little Louder" and is a well known anti-abortion speaker and writer.
