FOOD BANK BENEFIT SET FRIDAY

The Statesmen Quartet, The Wilburns and God's Country groups will appear at a benefit concert to be held at the A.C. Brase Arena Building in Cape Girardeau Friday.

The Statesmen Quartet, of Nashville, Tenn., will appear at 7:30 p.m. The Wilburns, God's Country and other local talents will appear from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Admission for the concert is $9 advance, or $10 at the door.

Proceeds from the concert go to the Bootheel Food Bank, a non-profit organization which feeds the hungry in 16 Southeast Missouri counties.
