Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center will hold a series of flu clinics for senior citizens starting today.
Seniors can get flu shots at Williford's Restaurant in Delta today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jackson Senior Citizen Center.
Anyone can receive a flu shot on a walk-in basis beginning Monday at the health department at 1211 Linden in Cape Girardeau. Hours for the shots are 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for as long as the vaccine is available.
For Jackson residents, flu shots will be provided on a walk-in basis at the First Presbyterian Church at Hope and Washington streets from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday and again on Monday, Oct. 28.
Medicaid and Medicare will be billed for the shots for those residents enrolled in the programs. Others will be asked to make a donation for the flu shots.
