FLORSHEIM FACTORY STORE ADDS FULL LINE OF WOMEN'S SHOES

The Florsheim Factory Shoe Store is taking on a new line women's shoes.

"We've had numerous requests for women's shoes," said Don Hinkebein, manager of the store at 48 Plaza Way. "We've added dress and business shoes for women, and will be adding casual shoes for women."

Hinkebein said the women's inventory would represent about 40 percent of the store's stock.

"We'll be carrying as many as 2,000 pair," he said.

The Florsheim Factory Shoe Store, one of 15 outlet stores, opened in Cape Girardeau with men's shoes in fall 1987. It is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
