PERRYVILLE -- Which flood insurance plan is right? How do I file a claim? What is a flood hazard?
These are questions insurance agents hear from customers interested in flood insurance. Answers can be found at an agent-lender flood-plain-management seminar Oct. 20.
The seminar is sponsored by the Missouri Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. It will be held at the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission office, 1 W. St. Joseph St., Perryville.
The seminar is designed to increase awareness and understanding of the National Flood Insurance Program. Local officials and insurance agents are invited.
Registration fee is $10 and should be sent to the regional planning office. For more information contact Herman Skaggs with FEMA at 739-4827.
