Five people shot at Caruthersville club

CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. — Police are searching for a suspect in an early Sunday shooting of five people at a club in Caruthersville.

At 3:50 a.m. Sunday, a shooting occurred at Club Envy in Caruthersville, Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Clark D. Parrott said.

“The preliminary investigation has revealed five people were shot and one person was injured in an altercation. The victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries,” Parrott said in the news release.

The state highway patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control is assisting Caruthersville police and Pemiscot County deputies with the investigation.
