ST. LOUIS -- Two separate shootings in downtown St. Louis have left five people injured.
Police say three young men were shot about 1 a.m. Monday. They were hospitalized in stable condition. A suspect was captured after a short police chase.
The second shooting happened near a homeless center just before 11 a.m. Police say a 16-year-old male was shot outside, then a stray bullet went into a U.S. Bank building and struck a woman. Neither injury was believed to be serious.
There was no immediate word on whether a suspect was in custody.
