RIVERS:
Castor (above Zalma): Clear, low; bass good on artificial lures and topwater lures; all other fishing slow.
Current: Clear, 1' below normal; all fishing slow.
Jacks Fork: Clear, 1' below normal; all fishing slow.
Meramec (below Eureka): Clear, normal; all fishing slow.
Meramec (above Sullivan): Clear, normal; bass good on artificial lures; suckers good on gig.
Mississippi (below Charleston): Normal; catfish excellent on pole and line and jugs off dikes with worms and cut bait; all other fishing slow.
Mississippi (above St. Louis): Murky, 1' low; channel catfish good on stinkbaits, worms and cut bait; drum good on worms; walleye fair on jigs and minnows below dam.
St. Francis (below Wappapello): Muddy; catfish fair on worms; all other fishing slow.
St. Francis (above Wappapello): Clear, low; black bass good on artificial lures, topwater lures and jig and pig; all other fishing slow.
LAKES:
Bull Shoals (East): Clear, 1' above normal; black bass good on topwater lures and spinnerbaits; white bass fair on shad and crankbaits; bluegill good on nightcrawlers; all other fishing slow.
Busch Memorial Conservation Area Lake 33: Murky; catfish fair on chicken livers; bass fair on spinnerbaits and plastic worms; bluegill good on worms; crappie good on minnows and jigs; all other fishing slow.
Clearwater: Clear, 3' below normal; crappie good on minnows; black bass fair on plastic worms; catfish good on live bait using juglines; bluegill good on crickets and worms along bank; carp good on canned corn using rod and reel; all other fishing slow.
Duck Creek: Bass good on topwater lures from sunset to sunrise; all other fishing slow; vegetation 90%.
Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): Normal, dingy; black bass and white bass fair; all other species slow. If water stays down gigging will be good this weekend.
Lake of the Ozarks (Glaize): Clear; bluegill and catfish good; white bass and crappie fair; all other fishing slow.
Lake of the Ozarks (Gravois): Clear; catfish good; crappie slow to fair; white bass and black bass slow.
Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): Clear; black bass fair to slow on topwater lures early and late, crankbaits during the day; white bass good on shad and deep running lures; crappie fair to slow on minnows over brush 8-12'; catfish fair to good on live bait trolling or poles; walleye fair on deep running lures or minnows fished deep; sunfish excellent on worms or jigs.
Lake of the Ozarks (Osage): Clear; bluegill and catfish good; crappie and white bass fair; all other fishing slow.
Pomme de Terre: Clear, slightly below normal pool; black bass excellent around cliff points and shorelines using spinnerbaits, lizards and plastic worms; walleye good trolling sandy points using deep divers and wiggle warts; crappie good in 20' depths at 8-12' depths around stumps; docks and bridge pillings using minnows and jigs; catfish good using stinkbaits and cut shad on trotlines and pole and line; bluegill good around shorelines and docks using worms.
Stockton: Clear, 2' low; crappie good at 8-15' depths using minnows and jigs; bluegill good using worms; black bass fair using plastic worms; catfish fair using a variety of baits on trotlines; walleye fair; white bass slow.
Table Rock (lower): Clear, 6' below power pool; black bass fair on Power Baits; bluegill fair to good on worms; catfish fair on trotlines; all other fishing slow.
Taneycomo: Upper end, 68x middle lake, 76x lower lake, clear, normal; brown trout fair on upper end using Power Baits, earthworms, corn, minnows and furbugs.
Truman Tail Waters: Clear; catfish good using cut bait; crappie fair using minnows and jigs; all other fishing slow.
Truman: Clear, normal pool; crappie fair to good at 4-12' depths around cedars on main channels and mouths of coves using minnows and jigs; catfish good on bottoms of coves and along flats using shad with pole and line; all other fishing slow.
Wappapello: Discharge at 190 CFS, 320.45 tailwater low; crappie good on minnows and jigs; white bass good on the upper part of the lake; black bass fair; all other species fair. NOTE: Anglers are encouraged to harvest bass under 11 inches (daily limit 6) to reduce the numbers of small bass in Wappapello Lake.
TROUT AREAS:
Bennett Spring: Clear, normal; trout good
Maramec Spring: Clear, normal; fishing good.
Montauk: Clear, normal; rainbow trout good in early a.m.
Roaring River: Clear, normal; trout good.
