Meramec (below Eureka): Clear upper end, normal; catfish good on large goldfish, crayfish and shad guts; bass good on large floating plugs and crayfish imitations; panfish good on crickets.
Meramec (above Sullivan): Clear, normal; bass good on artificial lures; sunfish fair on natural bait; all other species fair.
Mississippi (below Charleston): Murky, slightly higher than normal; catfish best catch on pole and line off wing dikes with worms and cut bait; all other fishing slow.
Mississippi (above St. Louis): Dingy, 1' high; drum fair on worms; channel catfish fair on worms and grasshoppers; flathead catfish fair on live bait; all other fishing slow.
Missouri (below New Haven): Muddy, high; flathead and blue catfish good on trotlines using goldfish and small sunfish; channel catfish and drum good on pole and line and trotlines using worms.
Missouri (middle): Falling slightly, should rise 1' by Friday; all species of catfish fair to good on live bait and stink bait; drum good on crawdads.
Missouri (below Iowa line): Murky, above normal, may raise some this weekend, some debris; flathead and channel catfish good using creek chubs; bluegill, goldfish and bullheads in the current broken by obstructions; carp good using worms in the slow water.
North Fork: Clear, normal; trout fair on nightcrawlers and Rapalas; all other species slow.
Osage (at Tuscumbia): Low, clear; all fishing fair to good.
Salt (below Mark Twain): Murky, 1' high; drum good on worms and nightcrawlers; channel catfish fair on prepared baits; all other fishing slow.
St. Francis (below Wappapello): Low; channel catfish fair on worms; all other fishing slow.
St. Francis (above Wappapello): Clear, very low; black bass good on live bait and topwater lures; all other fishing slow.
LAKES:
Bull Shoals (East): Clear, 4' above normal; black bass fair on crankbaits and soft plastic lures; catfish fair on live bait using juglines and trotlines; bluegill good on nightcrawlers; all other species slow.

Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): Clear; black bass fair on crankbaits early a.m. and late p.m.; catfish good on prepared bait fished early morning; white bass good but small on Rooster Tails and cut shad; crappie slow.
Lake of the Ozarks (Osage): Clear; bluegill and white bass good; black bass and catfish fair; all other fishing slow.
Mark Twain: Clear, l' low; crappie good but small in 8-15' depths on jigs and minnows in timber; bass good early in morning and late in evening on buzz baits and chuggers but fair during day on plastic worms and crankbaits; catfish good on trotlines and jugs using live bait; bluegill good on crickets and worms along the banks and in timber.
Montrose: Dingy, 1/2' low; black bass good using plastic worms, minnows, and jig and pig; catfish fair using gold fish and worms; crappie fair using minnows and jigs.
Norfork: Dingy, 4' above normal; black bass fair on plastic worms and shad; catfish fair on live bait and cut shad using trotlines; bluegill good on nightcrawlers; walleye fair on nightcrawlers and crankbaits; all other species slow.
Paho: Murky; 2 1/2' low; all species fair.
Pomme de Terre: Clear, normal pool; catfish excellent using stinkbaits and cut baits; bluegill excellent using crickets and worms; black bass good on points with drop-offs using plastic worms; crappie good at 8-22' depths around stumps, docks, and bridge pilings using minnows and jigs; walleye fair trolling gravel points using wiggle warts.
Pony Express: Clear, normal; catfish good using worms in the late evening in 10' depths, all other fishing slow.
Reed Area: 2" low, clearing; channel catfish good at Catclaw, Jackrabbit and and Nell Lakes fair at Gopher, Bodarc, and Bluestem using leeches, nightcrawlers and cut shad; bass fair at Bluestem, Bodarc, Gopher and Nell Lakes using crankbaits and plastic worms along brush piles and weed beds; crappie fair at Bodarc and Gopher Lakes using minnows and small tube jigs fished deep water near brush piles; bluegill fair at Bodarc, Bluestem and Nell using red worms and small tube jigs; hybrid striped bass fair in some lakes small in size; Redear fair at Bodarc and Gopher on worms.
Schell-Osage (Atkinson Lake): Murky, full pool; catfish fair; all other fishing slow.
Schell-Osage (Schell Lake): Murky; all species slow.
Sever: Clear, full pool; catfish excellent on stinkbaits and liver; crappie good on jigs and minnows; bass good on crankbaits; walleye fair on crankbaits.
Smithville: Clear, normal; crappie good along shoreline; bass fair; all other fishing slow.
Stockton: Clear, normal pool; bluegill good using worms and crickets; black bass good using plastic worms; white bass good early and late trolling with spinnerbaits; walleye and crappie slow.
Table Rock (James River arm): Clear, 4' below power pool; black bass fair to good on topwater early morning; bluegill fair to good on worms and crickets; white bass fair by trolling methods; all other fishing slow.
Truman tailwaters: 1' low, releasing 500 cfs; catfish fair using shad, all other fishing slow.
Truman: Clear, full pool; catfish fair to good in main channels using perch and shad on trotlines; white bass fair to good around points and flats trolling with sassy shad, spoons and spinnerbaits; black bass fair around fencerows and hardwoods along main points using sassy shad, and red plastic worms; crappie fair off main points of channels at 8-12' depths using minnows.
Wappapello: Normal; discharge 190 CFS, 320.45 tailwater; bass good in early a.m. and late p.m. on topwater lures and plastic worms; bluegill good on crickets; crappie fair on minnows and jigs; catfish fair on worms. NOTE: Anglers are encouraged to harvest bass under 11 inches to reduce the numbers of small bass in Wappapello Lake.
