Charlie Company, 110th Engineer Battalion of the Missouri Army National Guard, promoted Spc. Tomas Fisher to sergeant recently in Baghdad, Iraq, in the company motor pool where he works daily.
Fisher tracks all the vehicles and orders the parts needed for the maintenance of their specialized equipment. He also maintains daily reports on the status of every vehicle in Charlie Company.
Fisher has three different military occupation specialties. He has been stationed in Korea and deployed in support of Operation Noble Eagle.
His new rank as sergeant will give him more responsibility to keep all the vehicles running for Charlie Company.
Company C of the 110th Engineer Battalion is based in Lexington, Mo.
Fisher, 36, of Jackson is married to Judith Fisher. Their two daughters are Tara, 12, and Patrisha, 11.
