FIRST FINANCE AWARD PRESENTED: SOUTHEAST STUDENT GETS AWARD FOR ACHIEVEMENT

Robert C. Cole of Cape Girardeau, a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, received the first St. Louis Chapter Financial Executives Institute Academic Achievement in Finance Award.

Deborah Beard, acting chairperson of the accounting and finance department at Southeast, said: "This award recognizes his outstanding academic performance and his commitment to excellence. We are indeed proud that Robert has earned this award and has brought this distinction to the university."

Other finance award recipients included students from the University of Missouri in Columbia, University of Missouri in St. Louis, St. Louis University, Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, and Washington University and Fontbonne College, both in St. Louis.
