ST. LOUIS -- Ringo Starr, Gladys Knight, Tanya Tucker, Tom Jones and the band Foreigner are headlining this year's Fair St. Louis, which beings Saturday and continues Sunday and the Fourth of July.
Fair St. Louis, formerly knows as the Veiled Prophet Fair, is held on the grounds of the Gateway Arch. It features air shows, amusement rides, ethnic foods and free concerts.
Fireworks are scheduled at the close of each day at 9:30 p.m.
Foreigner will perform at 2 p.m. Saturday and Tanya tucker at 8 p.m. On Sunday, Ringo Starr is the featured entertainment at 2 p.m. and Gladys Knight at 8 p.m.
On Tuesday, the musical group All-5-One performs at 2 p.m, followed by a patriotic concert at 6:45 and the Tom Jones appearance at 8:15.
Daily attractions include the Family Fun Village, the Missouri Lottery Golf Hole-In-One Challenge, the Famous-Barr sports Skill Challenges, the Schnucks Golf Long Drive Challenge, a giant steam locomotive and on July Saturday and Sunday a classic car exhibit.
