CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Cape Girardeau office of Savings of America, 3168 Route K, has been selected for "Best-Of-The-Best" award for 1990.

The local branch competed with 25 other Savings of America offices in Missouri for the annual award, presented for superior customer service and operational quality.

"Winning this award is the fulfillment of a dream," said Bill Ramsey, branch manager, in accepting the award on behalf of his staff during a recent awards ceremony. "The staff will be rewarded for this accomplishment with a special dinner in their honor."

Savings of America is a division of Home Savings of America, the nation's largest savings and loan institution, and one of the largest home mortgage lenders in the country.
