CAPE GIRARDEAU - Southeast Missouri State seniors Jerri Wiley and Sherry Mitchell combined for 42 points Saturday night to help push the Otahkians into the NCAA Division II women's Final Four.
Hours after the game, it was announced Southeast will host the Final Four competition, which begins Friday at the Show Me Center.
The Otahkians, 30-3, advanced to their first ever Final Four appearance with a convincing 82-52 victory over Cal Poly Pomona.
Wiley, who was named the quarterfinal MVP, scored a game-high 22 points for the Otahkians. Mitchell added 20 points. Sarita Wesley followed with 15 points and Renee Rogliardi chipped in with 14 points.
The Otahkians will meet Norfolk State in Friday's opening round of the Final Four.
North Dakota State will square off against Bentley, Mass. The championship game will take place next Saturday night.
The Otahkians never trailed in the game, moving out to a 43-27 lead by halftime. Southeast continued to apply pressure, staking a 70-45 lead with 8:30 remaining in the game.
