A day-long film festival focusing on homosexual themes will be presented at Southeast Missouri State University Nov. 20.
The International Film Festival is being sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Association of Southeast Missouri State University.
The festival will begin at noon and run until 8 p.m. in the University Room of the University Center.
The films include:
-- "Cut Sleeve," a 24-minute documentary film about lesbians and gays of Asian-Pacific ancestry.
-- "Kiev Blue," a 28-minute documentary about gays and lesbians in the former Soviet republics.
-- "Salut Victory," an 84-minute video about a late-life romance in a nursing home. In French with English subtitles.
-- "We Were One Man," a film about a French farmer who nurses a German soldier back to health during World War II. French with English subtitles.
-- Westler: East of the Wall," an across-the-Berlin-Wall love story shot clandestinely on the east side of the wall. In Super 8 and German with English subtitles.
-- "Framed Youth," a 50-minute video reporting the state of Britain's gay teenagers.
The event is free and open to the general public.
